At Time to Sign we create unique pieces to enhance and complement your special occasion, event, or business. We work with you to create an individualised sign that captures the essence of your special day. A statement sign will raise the atmosphere, leading your guests to the realisation that something very special is about to take place. It sets the scene!
Many of our signs are back-lit, which adds an extra dimension by creating a different feel from day to night. We also focus on using environmentally sustainable materials where possible — No plastics!
We try to keep to the most environmentally sustainable materials possible. Therefore, MDF is the preferred choice over plastic. We use a range of thicknesses depending on the product.
No, but these can be added when placing your order and the price adjusted accordingly. For ease of packaging and freight simple assembly may be required. All components needed will be included, you will just need a screwdriver or electric drill.
The choice is yours! We can paint them either black or white for an extra fee, or you can receive it raw, ready for you to personalise with a splash of colour. If you are purchasing a product with lights, keep in mind colours that complement each other will create your desired look.
Postage will be added at the final stage when weight and size of product is decided.
You have a choice of either battery or USB plug for all smaller products, and all larger more customised products will come with either a power cord or USB. In some instances an extension cord will be required if do not have a power plug nearby.
Products can be used outside if undercover from the elements. MDF will swell and distort in rain. We use an outdoor paint to protect it from moisture, but this only provides little protection. If the lights are DC powered then protection from the weather for any power supply is required.
Most standard signs can be despatched between 5-7 days in normal trading times. Custom signs will take longer in order to create your dream piece for your special day. Typically 4 weeks is ideal, but if you know what you want it is possible to be completed much sooner. Just let us know when your event is to take place in the ‘Custom Made Sign’ area
We have been making signs for special occasions for family and friends for the last 7 years. It began with my son’s 21st birthday, and over the years we have produced signs for 50ths, weddings, many birthdays and other special events. The joy we get from creating each individual piece, and the pleasure we see in the eyes of our customers when we deliver their sign has given me the encouragement to turn my hobby into a business — Time to Sign.
